The Production and Publication of Books, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias and Journals is a main function of Sindhi Language Authority and according to that the assigned work has been carried out by this authority since its establishment. Initially, this section was named as ‘Publication section’, while in 2001, the section was upgraded as ‘Bureau of Publication and Production’ with its head as “Director of Bureau” respectively by Executive Committee of Sindhi Language Authority in its meeting held on 16.12.2000

Publications and Production Bureau is divided into two major parts: (1) Production and (2) Publications, while the five sections: (1) Research and Creativity (Books, Dictionaries, Journals and Encyclopedias) (2) Children’s Literature Section, (3) Translation Section, (4) Composing, Editing and Proofreading Section and (5) Documentation- Tenders, Quotations and Record keeping, were notified to came under the supervision of the bureau.
