According to the Act passed by the Sindh Assembly and the policies of the Government of Sindh, for the maximum use of Sindhi language and to promote the language, Dr. Ishaq Samejo, Chairman of the Sindhi Language Authority, to meet with the heads of various institutions and departments and authorities. The series has been started. In this regard, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ikramuddin Ajjan met and installed boards in Sindhi along with English and Urdu on the university campuses, hostels, and the roads within the university boundaries and also in Sindhi. He shared his thoughts about doing it in Sindhi language. During the meeting, it was also decided that Sindhi language is not only the mother tongue, but it is used as the official language of Sindh Pargana, therefore the use of Sindhi language in all private and public institutions of Sindh has a legal status. Chairman Dr. Ishaq Samejo said that the institutions need time to cooperate with each other to run under the determined goals, this will help in achieving the goals. On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr. Ikramuddin assured that very soon new boards will be set up in the Sindhi language within the boundaries of the University and the old boards will be improved and Sindhi will be added to them. During the meeting, it was also decided to cooperate in related activities to bring the institutions together.
